Bone Tissue Response Following Local Drug Delivery of Bisphosphonate Through Titanium Oxide Nanotube Implants in a Rabbit Model.
CONCLUSIONS: TiO2 nanotube implants may prove to be a significant delivery system for drugs or biologic agents aimed at supporting local bone formation.
