CONCLUSION: Despite a more frequent presentation with advanced disease, colorectal cancer has a similar prognosis in pregnancy when compared with the general population. Diagnostic interventions and treatment should not be delayed due to the pregnancy but a balance between maternal and foetal wellbeing must always be kept in mind. Conclusions: We found no associations of bisphenols and phthalates with fecundability. Preconception folic acid supplementation seems to modify effects of bisphenols and phthalates on fecundability. Folic acid supplements may protect against reduced fecundability among women exposed to these chemicals. Further studies are needed to replicate these findings and investigate potential mechanisms. Uterine myomas are common benign monoclonal tumors with extremely low potential for malignancy. They are estimated to be present in up to 70% of women of reproductive age [1], with a higher incidence in obese women and those of African American descent, and when symptomatic, a frequent indication for gynecologic surgery. Although the presence of myomas may be associated with a plethora of symptoms including pelvic pain, abnormal uterine bleeding, infertility/subfertility, and adverse pregnancy outcomes [2], the vast majority of women with uterine fibroids are asymptomatic.

We report a case of OEIS complex with the classical four major components in a 2-hour old term male baby, delivered by cesarean section to a 37-year-old lady with history of primary infertility and had the pregnancy with the aid of In Vito Fertilization. The baby was one of a set of twins. The other baby was alive and normal. We document the presence of a vesico-enteric fistula between the urinary bladder and the terminal ileum, which is to our best knowledge, a unique association that is not reported in the reviewed studies. We present the immediate neonatal care and surgical intervention that has been done for this newborn.
