Platelet indices and glucose control in type 1 and type 2 diabetes mellitus: a case –control study

The relationship between platelet indices and glucose control may differ in type 1 (T1DM) and type 2 (T2DM) diabetes. We aimed to investigate differences in the mean platelet volume (MPV), platelet count, and platelet mass among patients with T1DM, T2DM, and healthy controls and to explore associations between these platelet indices and glucose control.
