Local student investigates the smell of fear
One Memphis-based graduate student is doing what might be called a "smell test."
Jordan Ross, a student in the department of anatomy and neurobiology in University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC)'s College of Medicine, will receive $87,000 over two years to study changes related to fear and odor processing in the brain. The grant comes from the National Institutes o f Health (NIH).
