American Association of Occupational Health Nurses Foundation Grants Program NEW INVESTIGATOR RESEARCH GRANTS Purpose - To encourage research in the field of occupational and environmental health by new principal investigators. Funds Awarded: KELLY SERVICES ($3,000—one award) The primary research area is to focus on a demonstration project which shows the return on investment of one or more nurse initiated and managed health programs. MEDIQUE PRODUCTS ($3,000— one award) The AAOHN Research Priorities are to be used as the primary guide/reference for possible topics and will be given preference in funding. Eligibility Criteria - These grants allocate funds to occupational and environmental health nurses who are new investigators to conduct research on occupational and environmental issues. -- Must be a member of AAOHN. -- Proposals may be submitted that are in the early stages of development (prior to data collection); however, completed research projects will not be accepted for consideration. Acceptance of this funding is based on the following stipulations: -- The project will be completed according to the timeline provided in the proposal. If timely completion of the project is not possible, grant funds are to be returned unless a new project completion date has been approved (in writing).
