Cone Health honored for efforts tackling the racial divide in health care

Cone Health has been recognized for its work seeking to close the racial gap between African-American and white lung cancer patients, the health care provider said Thursday. Cone Health has been named a 2017 Equity of Care Award honoree by the American Hospital Association. Cone Health is one of four health care systems nationally to be named as an honoree.
