NIHSeniorHealth.gov to be retired in August 2017

On August 1, 2017, the NIHSeniorHealth.gov Web site will be retired. NIHSeniorHealth.gov, the first government Web site designed for older adults, was launched in 2003 by the National Institute on Aging (NIA) and the National Library of Medicine (NLM). The site provided evidence-based health information to millions of older adults in a format geared to their cognitive and visual needs. Beginning in August, NIHSeniorHealth.gov will redirect visitors to the Health and Aging section of NIA Web site. The NIA Go4Life website, NIHSeniorHealth YouTube Channel, and MedlinePlus are additional resources for older adults and their families. Read more in the NLM Technical Bulletin. /cm
