Opioid abuse by U.S. youths up sixfold since 2001: Study

MONDAY, June 19, 2017 -- The rate of opioid addiction among Americans age 25 and under rose nearly sixfold from 2001 to 2014. But few young addicts get medical treatment that might prevent overdose or relapse, a new study finds.
