Hysterectomy Association Founder & CEO Named Inspirational Woman 2014

PRESS RELEASE: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE The Hysterectomy Association are proud to announce that Founder and CEO, Linda Parkinson-Hardman, was named Venus Awards Dorset Inspirational Woman 2014 for her work supporting women facing hysterectomy. Wednesday 11th June saw the glittering finale of this year’s Venus Awards Dorset at The Lighthouse in Poole. Long and luscious was the order of the day for the nominee ladies who were all accompanied by friends, family and work colleagues. The awards, founded by Tara Howard, celebrate the achievement of women in 15 different business categories. Speaking last night, Linda said “I’m honoured to have been chosen as the overall winner by category sponsor, Chantal Lockey of the Foundation for Infant Loss Training. There were many inspirational women in the room and any one of them could have fitted the bill perfectly, it was a privilege to have been able to join them for such a wonderful event.” The Hysterectomy Association, based in Puddletown has been working with women all over the world to provide impartial, timely and appropriate information and support for almost 20 years and currently supports just under 2 million women every year through its influential website.
