NSAID-related upper gastrointestinal bleeding: Types of drug use and patient profiles in real clinical practice.

CONCLUSIONS: The majority of patients hospitalized due to NSAID-related upper GI bleeding reported short-term NSAID use for reasons other than chronic rheumatic disease.
