A Review of Psychopharmacological Interventions Post-Disaster to Prevent Psychiatric Sequelae.
CONCLUSION: Hydrocortisone shows promise in preventing and reducing the psychiatric sequelae of PTSD following disasters. Further evaluation of hydrocortisone and other potentially beneficial psychopharmacological interventions are needed.
