68Ga-PSMA PET/CT: patterns of disease distribution in prostate cancer patients
Conclusion: PSMA avid sites of disease detected on PET/CT in patients with prostate cancer followed the distribution of prostate cancer previously described in autopsy studies, and with similar detection rates. 68Ga-PSMA PET/CT is therefore an accurate noninvasive tool that should be included in recommendations of society guidelines in addition to abdomino-pelvic CT/MR and bone scintigraphy to evaluate the extent of disease in patients with prostate cancer.
