Local health care executive tapped for federal advisory committee
A local health care executive has been named to serve on a White House advisory committee.
U.S. Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell named Steve Ready, system vice president and chief information officer of Norton Healthcare Inc., to serve a three-year term on the Health Information Technology Advisory Committee, according to a news release. The committee was formed to help develop re gulations surrounding electronic medical records and other health information technologies.
