Time to Treatment and Mortality during Mandated Emergency Care for Sepsis. N Engl J Med 2017. PMID: 28528569. The authors performed a retrospective study examining the time to treatment of septic patients and mortality. They used data required to be collected and reported by the state to determine the relationship between mortality and time to completion of a sepsis bundle, fluid bolus administration, and antibiotic administration.
