USDA Offers $500K in Grant Funding for Rural Telemedicine
The U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Rural Utilities Service (RUS) has announced that they will be offering grants of up to $500,000 through their Distance Learning and Telemedicine (DLT) Grant Program in order to improve rural access to education and healthcare. Special consideration will be given to "Promise Zones," or areas that have been identified as particularly vulnerable.
