Commissioning mental health services for deaf people

The Joint Commissioning Panel for Mental Health in partnership with the deaf charity SignHealth has published Guidance for commissioners of primary care mental health services for deaf people. This guidance sets out key messages commissioner ' s need to embrace when commissioning mental health services in order to improve deaf people ' s access to these services. This guide should be of value to: CCGs and local authorities; health and wellbeing boards and service providers across secondary and tertiary services
