Pre-publication final rule from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) establishing May 20, 2017, as the effective date of a January 3, 2017, final rule implementing three new Medicare Parts A and B episode payment models (EPMs), a Cardiac Rehabilitation (CR) incentive model, and changes to the existing Comprehensive Care for Joint Replacement (CJR) model. Also finalizes a delay of other provisions listed in the rule. Final publication in the Federal Register is scheduled for May 19, 2017.
