Conclusion: MRI showed that a high percentage of ears affected by Menière's disease or delayed endolymphatic hydrops had EH. Further studies should evaluate the implications of EH in ears, especially in those with sudden SNHL, in terms of secondary or pre-existing EH.
Conclusion: Profound sensorineural hearing impairment can be the main feature of Noonan syndrome. Associated features are highly variable; thus, detailed medical history and careful physical examination are mandatory to consider the diagnosis in case of a sensorineural hearing impairment.
This study showed no difference between the three groups. Since the introduction of the new International Headache Society and Barany Society criteria for VM, no studies have focused on comparing these three groups. We strongly encourage authors to focus on comparing MD and VM from MDVM in future studies to help adequately distinguish the diagnosis of both diseases. PMID: 28811849 [PubMed]

We report a case of 12-year follow-up from a patient with stage IIB NPC, treated in 2004 with intensity-modulated radiotherapy and cisplatin-based chemotherapy. Pure-tone audiograms were conducted before treatment and at two other points in the 12-year period after treatment. Analysis of the patient ’s audiograms reveals that the development of high-frequency SNHL started after treatment and reached a plateau accompanied by tinnitus approximately 32 months after treatment conclusion. After the plateau, high-frequency SNHL continued to develop slowly in the next 10 years, possibly a long-term effect from radiation-ind...
