An assault to the National Academies of Venezuela

In the late hours of January 13 and the early hours of January 14, the National Academies of Venezuela (Medicine, History, Law, Language, and Physical and Natural Sciences) suffered an assault. People entered the building in which these highly respected institutions are located. Computers, printers, and electronic devices were stolen. Files and furniture were thrown around. Fortunately, there was no major damage to the building itself, nor were there human victims. (See Fig. 1.)
