Psychological Assessment of Emirati Patients Pursuing Bariatric Surgery for Obesity.

Conclusions: Anxiety, depression, perceived functional disability, impairment in quality of life, and disturbance of self-image were found to be common among participants in the study pursuing bariatric surgery for obesity.
