Ethnographic Assessment of Psychosocial Needs of Children at Vasilika Camp

International Medical Corps. 02/2017 This 16-page report discusses the findings of a study of the conditions in August 2016 of the Vasilika camp in northern Greece, which is one of the camps established by the Greek Government to house the Syrian refugee population trapped in the country after Macedonia closed its border in March 2016. The aim was to have a better understanding of children ' s psychosocial concerns and needs, and how these might be addressed. The report makes recommendations for the psychological well-being for these children. (PDF)
