​Atlanta chosen for global heart failure pilot

The World Economic Forum chose Atlanta for a global heart failure study intended to improve patient outcomes and decrease care costs. Twenty payer, provider, supplier and government associations in Georgia are teaming up on the three-year project, including Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia, Kaiser Permanente of Georgia, Grady Health System and Emory Healthcare.
