A Rare Case of AMPA-R Antibody Positive Paraneoplastic Limbic Encephalitis (P6.182)
Conclusions:Neuroradiologic findings are often normal or nonspecific. Some patients show increased intensity on T2-weighted or FLAIR sequences in limbic structures and especially in the hippocampus that are consistent with limbic encephalitis. AMPA-R antibody positive paraneoplastic limbic encephalitis is a rare diagnosis that responds well to treatment so serum or CSF paraneoplastic antibody testing should be considered when clinical symptoms and MRI findings are present.Study Supported by: N/ADisclosure: Dr. Takahashi has nothing to disclose.
