Stroke-like migraine attacks in long term survivors of high grade glioma. (P1.174)

Conclusions:Stroke-like migraine attacks are difficult to treat and the pathophysiology is unknown. With more sophisticated imaging techniques, a better understanding of this phenomenon will aid in the treatment and prophylaxis of the syndrome with a goal of improving quality of life for this small but slowly growing population.Disclosure: Dr. New has nothing to disclose. AbstractIntroductionMaternal perception of fetal movements has long been considered an indicator of fetal well ‐being. A sudden decrease in the number of fetal movements is suggestive of fetal compromise. We aimed to determine whether the maternal perception of reduced fetal movements (RFM) is associated with placental pathological lesions in a low‐risk term population.Material and methodsOur study was a case ‐control study that was performed in a single university center. Placental histopathology, maternal demographics, labor characteristics, and neonatal outcomes of term, singleton pregnancies with maternal percept...

CONCLUSION: miR-21 and miR-155 promote the progression of Burkitt's lymphoma through PI3K/AKT signaling by targeting C1RL and TCAP. Our findings will provide a novel biomarker and therapeutic strategies for Burkitt's lymphoma. PMID: 32055277 [PubMed]

CONCLUSIONS: This is the first report on discordant lymphoma consisting of mantle cell lymphoma and angioimmunoblastic T cell lymphoma. There seems to be no relation these two different kinds of lymphoma, and EBV infection might prompt the development of angioimmunoblastic T cell lymphoma after transplantation. Rash is a common clinical manifestation when T cell lymphoma develops after treatment for MCL. PMID: 32055275 [PubMed]

In this study, we chose Cytokeratin-pan, GFAP, and LCA as three immunohistochemical indicators. Intraoperative IHC was done by Novodiax ihcDirect technology combined with Leica Bond auto-staining. Compared with the manual method recommended for the reagents (Novodiax ihcDirect), the results show that auto-staining has better stability and high reproducibility in coloration, which has broad prospects for future application. This study aimed to analyse the features of lymphadenopathy and estimate the role of imaging methods, including computed tomography (CT) and positron emission tomography-CT (PET/CT), in the diagnosis of lymphadenopathy in patients with POEMS syndrome. We conducted a retrospective analysis of 23 patients with confirmed POEMS syndrome. All of the patients received chest and abdominal CT scan and/or superficial ultrasound examinations. Four patients underwent PET/CT examinations, and 6 patients received lymph node biopsies. Enlarged lymph nodes (short diameter ≥ 1 cm) were found in 48% (11/23) of patients, but only 1 patie...

ConclusionCBS contains analogous types and amounts of constituents and exerts approximate therapeutic effects compared to the NCB, thus the CBS might be used as the sustainable substitute of NCB. Furthermore, configuration and concentration of bile acids and bilirubin in C. bovis are responsible for the difference of pharmacological effects in four types C. bovis. The next study should focus on the structure-function relationship of bile acids and bilirubin in C. bovis by pharmacokinetics.Graphical abstract
