A.J. Heightman calls it nothing short of a miracle 27 years ago when he made a split, gut decision to begin resuscitation on a premature baby not breathing. To finally meet Rodney Barron II and hold his son Rodney III was magical.  I could feel the “life forces” in Rodney the III telling me that I had contributed to his birth by saving his 2 lb., 13 oz.
