Pre-Existing Psychiatric Illness is Associated with Increased Risk of Recurrent Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy

The increased prevalence of psychiatric illness among patients with takotsubo cardiomyopathy (TC) has been previously described. We sought to assess the impact of pre-existing psychiatric illness on clinical outcomes following diagnosis of TC.
