Grants Awarded For Medical Residents in Rural and Underserved Areas of Wisconsin

Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) Secretary Kitty Rhoades has announced today that over $3.3 million in grants have been awarded to six health organizations to establish new Graduate Medical Education programs over the next three years. This initiative allows new resident physicians to provide health care services to Wisconsin residents at hospitals and clinics in rural and underserved areas in over 20 counties.
