Unusual Presentation of Choroidal Tuberculoma

A 19-year-old woman with decreased vision in the right eye for 2 months was referred for retinoblastoma. Best corrected visual acuity (BCVA) was 1.9 logMAR. A nodular subretinal lesion with exudative retinal detachment was noted (Fig 1A). Tuberculosis was suspected. Mantoux was 12 ×12 mm and Quantiferon was positive. Chest computed tomography showed hydro-pyo-pneumothorax with pleural thickening, a partially collapsed left lower lobe, and nodular consolidation with cavitation. Pleural fluid was positive for acid fast bacilli.
