Microsoft expands deal with biotech to store data in DNA

Microsoft Corp. is expanding its deal with pioneering synthetic biology company Twist Bioscience to buy 10 million strands of DNA for deeper studies into data storage using the molecules that store the genetic code for humans and most other organisms.
