New Kensington: 5 injured in ambulance-car crash

Sign up for one of our email newsletters. Five people were injured in a crash between an ambulance and a car in New Kensington shortly before midnight Friday, according to Westmoreland County 911. The ambulance was transporting a patient before the collision on Freeport Road, according to dispatchers. Another important reason why all personnel and all equipment must be secured during the transport of a patient.  Equipment (and personnel) become missiles when not locked in place or belted.   Read More at Tribune Review
