Steve Schexnayder Named to Pediatric Task Force Committee (Movers & Shakers)

Dr. Steve Schexnayder has been appointed to the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation Pediatric Task Force, which reviews the latest science to develop pediatric resuscitation guidelines used throughout the world. He is a professor of pediatrics and internal medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock and also practices at Arkansas Children’s Hospital. He is section chief of critical care medicine and the Morris and Hattie Oakley Endowed Chair in pediatric critical care medicine. He earned his medical degree from UAMS. He completed a residency in pediatrics and internal medicine and a fellowship in pediatric critical care medicine, both at UAMS. Patricia Braun has been promoted to director of emergency medicine and intensive care at Sparks Medical Center in Van Buren. She has more than 30 years of nursing experience and has been a member of the Sparks team for the past seven years. She has served in numerous nursing and management roles in areas such as trauma, cardiology, intensive care, emergency medicine and clinical education. Heather Albertson was recently added to the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists for computer tomography, her third registry with the organization. She is the radiology manager and radiation safety officer at Sparks Medical Center in Van Buren. Dr. Kenneth P. Seiter has joined Mercy Clinic Podiatry at the River Valley location in Fort Smith.
