Glycemic Control and Quality of Life Following Cataract Surgery in Diabetic Patients

CONCLUSIONS Cataract surgery may positively influence glycemic control along with confidence, perceptions and ability in disease management in diabetic patients. Younger patients and those with poor glycemic control or visual acuity may achieve superior visual and glycemic outcomes. The results of this study highlight the need for frequent inquiry regarding eyesight deterioration in patients with diabetes.
