First Nations, Metis, & Rural HEADSTRONG Summit

The first First Nations, Métis and Rural HEADSTRONG Summit for youth mental health was hosted in October by the Mental Health Commission of Canada in Calgary, Alberta.  This short video encapsulates the event’s activities. Youth attending get inspired and inspire after presentations by elders, celebrities, and peers about mental health, wellness, and indigenous culture and identity. Future events are planned and ultimately the HEADSTRONG initiative will impact thousands of people in Canada. The initial event in this video is a moving start.
