Characteristics and Outcome of Patients with Stroke After Lung Transplant Surgery in the Lung Allocation Score Era

With introduction of lung allocation (LAS) in 2005, increasingly sicker patients are being transplanted every year. The current study was conducted to determine the incidence of stroke early after lung transplantation (LT), describe the recipient characteristics that are independently associated with it and evaluate its impact on 1 year survival.
