ARS adding clinics, prescribers to meet opioid treatment demand

Accessible Recovery Services, a Pittsburgh-based network of a dozen medically assisted opioid treatment clinics across the state, said it plans to add six more sites and dozens of "extenders" — nurse practitioners and physician assistants able to prescribe drugs like buprenorphine — in the next three to four months to meet demand.
