UVA finds ANOTHER immune system link science said didn't exist

(University of Virginia Health System) The University of Virginia School of Medicine has again shown that a part of the body thought to be disconnected from the immune system actually interacts with it, and that discovery helps explain cases of male infertility, certain autoimmune diseases and even the failure of cancer vaccines.

Abstract Estrogen is a pivotal enzyme for survival and health in both genders, though their quantum, tropism, tissue-specific distribution, and receptor affinity varies with different phases of life. Converted from androgen via aromatase enzyme, this hormone is indispensable to glucose homeostasis, immune robustness, bone health, cardiovascular health, fertility, and neural functions. However, estrogen is at the center of almost all human pathologies as well-infectious, autoimmune, metabolic to degenerative. Both hypo and hyper level of estrogen has been linked to chronic and acute diseases. While normal aging is ...

Semin Reprod Med 2017; 35: 263-270 DOI: 10.1055/s-0037-1603582Endometriosis is a condition defined by the presence of endometrial glands and stroma in ectopic locations. While the most commonly seen symptoms of the disease are pelvic pain, dysmenorrhea, and infertility, endometriosis has also systemic effects in multiple organ systems. Here, we review literature describing closely associated comorbidities including cardiovascular disease, cancers, autoimmune disease, psychiatric conditions, and metabolism/body weight. We examine the pathophysiology and hypothesized mechanism by which endometriosis may lead to these systemi...

Extrahepatic manifestations of hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection are a rare but serious condition. This review summarizes the current literature on the association between HCV and endocrine and pulmonary manifestations, as well as idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP). HCV may directly infect extrahepatic tissues and interact with the immune system predisposing for obstructive and interstitial lung disease, ITP, autoimmune thyroiditis, infertility, growth hormone and adrenal deficiency, osteoporosis, and potentially lung and thyroid cancers. However, in many cases, the current evidence is divergent and cannot sufficien...

Authors: Bisht S, Dada R Abstract Oxidative stress (OS) has been implicated in a wide array of diseases such as neurodegenerative disorders, autoimmune diseases, complex lifestyle diseases and cancer. OS is caused by an imbalance in production of Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) and antioxidant defenses in the cell which results in the damage of cellular components, inactivate essential metabolic enzymes and disrupt signal transduction pathways. OS induces peroxidative damage to the sperm plasma membrane, DNA fragmentation in sperm nuclear/mitochondrial genome and causes dysregulation in levels of mRNAs/transcripts. O...

It’s been on the news, but thankfully not too much. The US Preventive Health Services Task Force just issued a statement saying there was “no evidence of value for celiac disease screening.” Taken out of context, without a careful reading of the statement, an understanding of the distinction between “screening,” “diagnosis,” and “case finding,” without sufficient background about the role of the Task Force, and in the midst of today’s controversies about “going gluten free,” this statement might easily lead to misinterpretation by patients, families, c...

Cyclophosphamide (CP) is a chemotherapeutic drug with a wide range of applications ranging from treatment of many gynecological cancers to various autoimmune diseases. As a sequela of CP exposure many women suffer from premature ovarian insufficiency and infertility. CP is metabolized in the liver to give stable toxic compound acrolein. Recently, we have established that CP and acrolein exposure causes deterioration of oocyte quality through changes in microtubule morphology and chromosomal alignment.

Conclusion Neil Z. Miller has outlined some extremely alarming facts and the situation could be far worse, with many adverse reactions left unreported. However, despite his efforts, no mainstream media outlet has reported on this factual and evidence-based paper. Facts are facts, and we, at VacTruth, believe that the time has come to put a stop to this madness. We urge parents to send a copy of Miller’s paper to all relevant health and government departments before it is too late.
