Left ventricular diastolic dysfunction and arterial occlusion in ischemic stroke related to atrial fibrillation

【Background】Left ventricular diastolic dysfunction lead to left atrial stasis and thus increases a risk of left atrial appendage thrombus in patients with atrial fibrillation. We investigated whether left ventricular diastolic dysfunction is associated with embolic burden in patients with ischem ic stroke related to atrial fibrillation.
