White River Medical Center Promotes Two (Movers & Shakers)

Doyle Cockrill has been appointed to director of surgical services, the cardiac catheterization lab and the cardiac observation unit at White River Medical Center in Batesville. In his new role, he will be responsible for managing the clinical operations, including clinical quality, scheduling, staffing and documentation for the surgery department, the cardiac catheterization lab, and the cardiac observation unit. He has worked for the hospital for 15 years and as the clinical supervisor in the cardiac catheterization lab for 13 of those years. Samantha Tate has been promoted to medical surgical nursing director at White River Medical Center. She will be responsible for managing clinical staff and developing policies and procedures to ensure patients receive quality, safe, efficient health care. She has been at the hospital for eight years. Dr. Jeffrey Stewart has joined Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton to provide cardiology care at the hospital. Specializing in cardiovascular disease, preventive cardiology, interventional cardiology, peripheral vascular disease and general cardiology, he is now seeing patients at the new Central Arkansas Cardiology Associates clinic.
