Abstract S4-04: Tumor microenvironment of metastasis (TMEM) score is associated with early distant recurrence in hormone receptor (HR) positive, HER2-negative early stage breast cancer (ESBC)

Conclusions: MS, a novel metastasis biomarker reflecting interaction between streaming and metastasizing tumor cells and microenvironment, provides prognostic information complementary to classical clinicopathologic features and RS in HR+/HER2- ESBC. Further evaluation is warranted in order to identify patients at highest risk of recurrence within 5 years most likely to benefit from adjuvant chemotherapy or novel therapies.
