Pipeline embolization device as primary treatment for cervical internal carotid artery pseudoaneurysms.

CONCLUSION: Complete aneurysmal occlusion and long-term angiographic occlusion can occur after PED treatment of cervical carotid pseudoaneurysms. In select patients, the PED can be a suitable primary treatment modality with good neurological outcome for cervical carotid pseudoaneurysms. PMID: 28217382 [PubMed - in process]
