Acupuncture in posttonsillectomy pain : A  prospective, double-blinded, randomized, controlled trial.

CONCLUSION: Acupuncture is an effective complement to NSAIDs in the treatment of posttonsillectomy pain. Particularly patients with allergies, drug intolerance, or reduced response to the commonly administered drugs may benefit from acupuncture.
