To resolve this issue, we have designed and developed the dual (pH and temperature) responsive bio-nanomaterial to improve the efficiency anesthetic drug delivery system. Chitosan is a uniq...

I am an MD/MBA (obtain MBA later at top institution while working) whereby I specialized in Anesthesiology. I have a trust that I will be inheriting with about 8M where I am worth approximately 3M, so the total assets come out to be 11M. Assets are most liquid in a mix of stock index funds and bonds, with about 50K in misc Gold holding and 425K in a house that I bought with cash. When I run the NPV numbers at 7% (assumption for long term returns) for 10.5M in assets (liquid portion), I... CONCLUSION: We failed to identify the correlation between ANI/NRS values before and after extubation. Our findings suggest that ANI provides more valuable information in anesthetized patients, but is ineffective in the prediction of potential postoperative pain. Authors: Aksu C, Kuş A, Yörükoğlu HU, Tor Kılıç C, Gürkan Y Abstract OBJECTIVES: Due to the complex breast innervation, postoperative analgesia after breast surgery is a challenge for the anesthesiologists. The erector spinae plane block (ESPB) is a newly defined promising technique for this purpose. The main purpose of this study was to evaluate the analgesic efficacy of the ultrasound-guided ESPB in breast surgery, monitoring its effect on the postoperative opioid consumption. METHODS: Fifty female patients, who were scheduled to undergo elective breast surgery, with the American Soc...

CONCLUSION: The use of levobupivacaine intraperitoneally is an alternative method to reducing of postoperative shoulder and abdominal pain in gynecological laparoscopic surgery. Also, we observed a lower total analgesic consumption and more analgesic effectiveness in intraperitoneal groups than the other. Further studies are needed with different intraperitoneal local anesthetics. PMID: 31736022 [PubMed - in process]

We present our experience with the use of an unilateral QLB to provide postoperative analgesia in a 3-year-old pediatric patient weighing 14 kg who underwent a unilateral inguinal hernia repair. His family was satisfied with the general status and pain cessation in the patient. PMID: 31736020 [PubMed - in process]
