World Health Organization, Regional Office for Europe. 11/15/2016 This 148-page report describes antimicrobial resistance data from seven countries and Kosovo in the World Health Organization European Region gathered through the Central Asian and Eastern European Surveillance of Antimicrobial Resistance (CAESAR) network. The aim of the report is to create awareness about the current antibiotic resistance situation and advocate antimicrobial resistance control policies in participating countries, provide guidance and inspiration to countries that are building or strengthening their national antimicrobial resistance surveillance, and stimulate the sharing of data internationally.
