Metalloproteinases activity in epicardial adipose tissue of patients with coronary artery disease.

CONCLUSION: EAT from CABG presents higher gelatinases activity than No CABG. This finding reveals a potential role of MMPs in EAT expansion making their activity a potential treatment goal.
