Correction

In the article entitled “Recent Advances on the Molecular Pathology of Glial Neoplasms in Children and Adults” (Volume 18, pages 620–634 of the September 2016 issue of The Journal of Molecular Diagnostics; http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.jmoldx.2016.05.005), the promoter mutations listed on page 628 were incorrectly labe led as proteins rather than nucleotides. The correct sentence should read: “Testing for TERT promoter mutations is relatively straightforward because they also occur at specific hotspots (C228T or C250T).”
