AHN study clears less invasive treatment for breast cancer patients with pacemakers

A new study from Allegheny Health Network has found that early-stage breast cancer patients with pacemakers can be treated with lumpectomies and whole-breast radiotherapy, eliminating the need for some unnecessary mastectomies.
