Big Pharma firms in patent dispute
French pharmaceutical manufacturer Sanofi filed a patent infringement suit against Merck in the United States District Court for the District of Delaware.
Sanofi alleges Merck (NYSE: MRK) infringed of 10 patents covering similar products and methods of delivery.
The lawsuit was triggered by a notification received from Merck in early August, in which Merck stated that it had filed a new drug application with the Food Drug Administration seeking app roval of an insulin glargine drug product for patients…
