Swimming, fishing not recommended in Bogue Chitto River until further notice

Louisiana state health officials are warning residents to stay away from the Bogue Chitto River after approximately 6 million gallons of sewage water spilled into the east branch of the river because of a levee breach Friday in Mississippi.
