Evaluation of microtensile and tensile bond strength tests determining effects of erbium, chromium: yttrium-scandium-gallium-garnet laser pulse frequency on resin-enamel bonding
Conclusion: It was demonstrated that increasing μTBS pulse frequency significantly improved immediate bond strength while TBS showed no significant effect. It can, therefore, be concluded that test method may play a significant role in determining optimum laser parameters for resin bonding.
Combination of Fluorine-18 Fluorodeoxyglucose Positron-Emission Tomography/Computed Tomography (¹⁸F-FDG PET/CT) and Tumor Markers to Diagnose Lymph Node Metastasis in Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC): A Retrospective and Prospective Study. Med Sci Monit. 2020 Jun 02;26:e922675 Authors: Zhai X, Guo Y, Qian X Abstract BACKGROUND The early diagnosis of lymph node (LN) metastasis is crucial for patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). However, the diagnosis of LN metastasis mainly dependent on ¹⁸F-FDG PET/CT (fluorine-18 fluorodeoxyglucose positron-emission tomography/computed tomo...

However, data on the accuracy of abutment scans according to the distance between the adjacent tooth and the abutment are lacking.PurposeThe purpose of this in vitro study was to compare the 3D accuracy of abutment scans according to the distance between the adjacent tooth and the abutment.Material and methodsA right maxillary first molar was removed and scan...
Authors: Vijayvergiya R, Kanabar K, Kaushal S, Lal A, Krishnan S Abstract A 42-year-old female with end-stage chronic kidney disease, who was on maintenance hemodialysis for the last 3 years, presented with facial and upper-limb swelling of 2-month duration. A computed tomography (CT) scan confirmed significant stenosis of the superior vena cava (SVC). Following discussion in a multidisciplinary meeting, it was proposed to perform a repeat endovascular intervention to relieve the SVC obstruction and manage the migrated stent. Conclusions: Research evaluating occupational therapy interventions aimed at supporting homeless individuals as they transition to housing is in an early stage of development.Significance: Implications for research and practice are discussed. PMID: 32476575 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]
Conclusion: CT-guided pudendal nerve block at the sacrospinous ligament and the Alcock's canal was effective in improving premature ejaculation. Therefore, pudendal nerve entrapment may be a curable cause of sensory premature ejaculation. PMID: 32476566 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]
Conclusions: A distinct temporal hump in mean birthweight among Norwegian term births had no obvious explanations. Furthermore, these fluctuations in birthweight were not associated indirectly with adverse outcomes in measures of infant health.
In conclusion, we suggest that in the presence of intolerance or resistance to colchicine, interleukin (IL)-1 inhibition could suppress peritoneal inflammation and prevent MSTs. PMID: 32477360 [PubMed - in process]
[New Zimbabwe] President Emmerson Mnangagwa's son, Collins has denied any links with a company said to have pocketed nearly US$1 million after being contracted to supply government with grossly inflated coronavirus fighting equipment.
Conclusions: According to this study, ventilatory limitation, pulmonary involvement, and deconditioning are the main causes of activity limitations in sarcoidosis patients. PMID: 32476953 [PubMed - in process]
CONCLUSIONS: Despite the differences in X-ray attenuation between the five model designs, the results suggest that the anthropomorphic model does not affect the results of diagnostic accuracy studies on root fractureusing this CBCT machine at standard clinical exposures. This provides some confidence in the previously published evidence. The inter observer diagnosis differences indicate that research using only two observers could provide misleading results.
