Myelodysplastic Syndromes in Adolescent Young Adults: One Institution's Experience.
CONCLUSION: MDS is rare and tends to be more aggressive in the AYA population. Karyotype was the most important prognostic factor. Allogeneic stem-cell transplantation offered younger patients the best outcomes.
